Exclusive use
At Yondah, you always have exclusive use of the whole 150 acre property and full access throughout the house.
In Mid and High Season, we only take bookings for the whole house, but in Low Season however, we offer a special rate 1 or 2 Bedroom Rate. You’ll still have exclusive use of the whole property and full access throughout the house (we don’t like locked doors either) but you’ll only pay for the number of bedrooms/bathrooms you actually use. This means that if you’re a couple, you’ll book the 1 Bedroom Rate. If you’d like to invite another couple to join you, you’ll book the 2 Bedroom Rate. Too easy!

Number of guests
Yondah Beach House sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with provision for 2 more guests to sleep in two comfy innerspring fold-out beds (see our floorplan) so Yondah can sleep 8 guests in total.
Minimum stay
We have a minimum stay of 4 nights (this helps us amortise the high cost of cleaning in a remote location), but shorter stays to fill booking gaps occur occasionally, and these will appear on our online booking system.
Inclusions
Our rate includes cleaning plus all your bedroom linen (sheets, quilts etc), bath towels, hand towels, bathmats, and tea towels. Complimentary NBN satellite internet access is also included.
Bond
A $300 security bond is payable (via EFT or as a credit card authorisation) to cover incidentals and/or property damage/loss, and this will be refunded within 5 business days of your departure. If you are a previous guest, you won’t need to pay a security bond – the booking system will add this but we will deduct it from your total when we process your deposit/payment.
Deposit and Payment
We require a $500 deposit at the time of booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before your arrival date. If you make your booking within 6 weeks of your arrival date, we would appreciate full payment when you book. We accept phone and online payments by Visa and MasterCard (1.85% credit card fee is payable), EFT, cheque or money order. You are also welcome to pay cash – just give us a call anytime on 0417 829 010.
Cancellation policy
For a small boutique accommodation business like ours, a cancellation can result in an empty house. Therefore we cannot offer a refund if you cancel your booking. Instead we will do our best to re-sell your cancelled dates at the same rate you originally paid. If successful, we will transfer any payment you have made, less a $100 admin fee, to a new booking which must be completed within 12 months of your original departure date. Please note that if you cancel your booking close to your arrival date, we may have to reduce the re-sale price of your cancelled dates and this will in turn reduce the balance we can transfer to your new booking. So the earlier you let us know the better! Minor date adjustments (eg. adding a day or moving your dates along by a day or two) are usually possible subject to availability, but changing all your dates will be treated as a cancellation. No refund can be given for non-arrival, unused services or unused nights. We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may result in the cancellation of holiday bookings.
