GOOD THINGS TO KNOW
All bookings at Yondah are exclusive. This means that when you book Yondah, you’ll always have exclusive use of the whole 150 acre property and full access throughout the house.
Our base full house rate (using 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms) starts at $650 per night. A higher rate applies on Fri/Sat and during holiday periods, but we also offer some very enticing ‘hot price’ specials from time to time. You can check availability and our daily rates (and find our ‘hot price’ specials) on our online booking system.
Only need one or two bedrooms?
To keep Yondah affordable, we also offer lower rates if you only need one bedroom/bathroom or two bedrooms/bathrooms. You’ll still have exclusive use of the whole property and full access throughout the house (we don’t like locked doors either) but you won’t have to pay the full house rate. Our 1 and 2 Bedroom Options are available in Low Season only and start at $490 per night. You can check our availability and rates on our online booking system.
All we need to confirm your booking is a deposit of $500 or 30% (whichever is greater), then you are very welcome to pay the balance at any time that’s convenient for you up until 8 weeks before your arrival date. Number of guests
Yondah Beach House sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with provision for 2 more guests to sleep in comfy innerspring fold-out beds (see our floorplan).
We have a minimum stay of 4 nights to help us amortise the high cost of cleaning in such a remote spot and to help us manage our Covid-19 cleaning regime, but we will accept a 3 night booking with a ‘short stay’ surcharge of $250 to help us offset the cleaning cost. Booking ‘gaps’ of 2 or 3 nights between existing bookings often appear on our online booking system and these do not incur a surcharge. During High Season, we may request a minimum of 7 nights – please check your preferred dates our online booking system.
At Yondah there are no hidden costs. Our nightly rates include all your bedroom and bathroom linen (sheets, quilts, bath towels, hand towels, bathmats) and tea towels. There is no additional cleaning, booking or linen hire fee.
A $500 security bond is payable as a credit card authorisation (like a hotel) to cover incidentals and property damage or loss. This is not an actual charge on your card and it will expire automatically on departure.
For a small accommodation business like ours, a cancellation can result in an empty house and no income. Therefore, if you cancel your booking, we cannot issue a refund. Instead, we will do our best to re-sell your cancelled dates without incurring an economic loss. If successful, we will transfer the value of your booking less any remaining balance and less a $100 admin fee, to a new booking at either of our houses (Yondah Beach House or Seafire Beach House). Please note that if you cancel your booking close to your arrival date, we may have to reduce the re-sale price of your cancelled dates and this will in turn reduce the value of your credit so the earlier you let us know the better! Minor date adjustments (eg. adding a day or moving your dates along by a day or two) are usually possible subject to availability, but changing all your dates will be treated as a cancellation. No refund or credit can be given for non-arrival, unused services, cancelled guests or unused nights. We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may result in the cancellation of holiday bookings.
Cancellations due to COVID-19
If your booking is cancelled within 7 days of your arrival date or during your stay due to an unexpected and sudden government-mandated lockdown or border closure that directly affects one or all of the dates you have booked, we will provide a credit equal to the full value of your booking (with no admin fee deducted) to a new booking within 36 months at either of our houses (Yondah Beach House or Seafire Beach House) subject to availability and our usual booking terms and conditions. Any non-arrival, unused services, cancelled guests or unused nights that result from any requirement to isolate or quarantine due to Covid-19 will be treated as a General Cancellation (see above).
